Cipollino Marble is a marble that has been used all the way back to ancient times in Greece and Rome. It was a structural part of Claudius Mamurra who was one of Julius Ceasers engineers. It became common place throughout Rome as a material for many of its structures with the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina as one example of such implementations. Its prominence even continued in use in to the Byzantine Empire. Needless to say, Cipollino slabs is a marble with history expanding hundreds and thousands of years and thus has proven its structural qualities and abilities throughout time.
