About the stone

Thassos marble is famous for its pure snow-white appearance and is considered the purest white stone in the world, used in some of the most exclusive settings globally — from high-end villas to the Grand Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia. Its bright, highly reflective surface also gives it one of the lowest heat absorbance ratings of any natural stone.

Not all Thassos is created equal: the industry grades the stone A1 through A3, with A1 representing the highest quality and fewest imperfections. Mega Marble goes a step further with our own AE grade, a tier above A1 reserved for the best of the best. With over 35,000 sq. ft. of AE and A1 material on hand, we’re the largest supplier of high-grade Thassos in the United States.

Available in 1cm and 1.5cm thicknesses, polished finish.
